The poor old dishwasher finally stopped cleaning.
I tried going online to get some diagnostic help and never found a site that had a step by step help plan. I then did a little reading on different sites, to eliminate and perhaps diagnose my problem I use epoxy to glue the impeller(which spun freely) to the screw and it held long enough for me to see how it worked. I surfed sites to find the least expensive drain and wash impeller kit. One site had a cheaper price but I chose Parts Select because of the shipping so the end result was the best results for me. I am not sure but the estimated time was 1.7 or 1.8 days delivery that I did not believe would happen. When I received the parts and did the repair my final time from ordering was less than a day and a half. I could not have done the job myself without the video because the parts were very different. My biggest obstacle, other than my ignorance, was some sort of chemical on the screw that would not allow me to loosen it. I used a dremel to cut the head off and then a torch to heat the stub so I could remove it. After I received the kit I saw a chemical on the screw threads so online research told me heat loosens the chemical. My dishwasher is around 25 years old,I have worked on it three times now and replacing the impeller was the most difficult task to date. Should it last and develop another problem I will go to parts select first and start my quest.

My dishwasher started making a growling sound, and did not wash the dishes anymore.
My dishwasher quit working the week before Thanksgiving, and to say the least, my wife was quite concerned. I did not know what was wrong, until I found the info on this website, including a how to repair video. I watched the repair video on the website when I ordered the parts. Other than my wash arm being different from what was shown in the video, it went exactly as shown in the video. I'm glad that the video, and the bag with the parts told me that there are fewer parts than originally were installed on the original. The parts looked like they had been redesigned a little, and were easier to assemble. Overall, I will be getting any repair parts I need for other appliance repairs in the future from here. Thank you for making this experience as easy as it was.

Dishwasher was leaking
The repair was fairly simple and made easier with an installation video. The repair went well and there's no more leak.

The dishwasher failed to start.
Initially, I was going to call a repair-person to fix the dishwasher, but decided to check and see what was available on-line. I was very surprised to find a video on YouTube for my specific model. Even more surprising was the relative ease to perform the repairs, after watching the video. I have the proper tools, so I disassembled, per the video and found the problem. I was elated to see how easy it was to order the parts kit. It came in three days, and within 1/2 hour after parts arrival, I had the dishwasher purring like a kitten. What an excellent service. If you can turn a screwdriver, you can fix your appliance, via these well-done videos.

Dishwasher Stopped then only made a humming noise.
Dishwasher Stopped then only made a humming noise. Started with the Video on your site and it was quite helpful. I had trouble holding the drain impeller with the wrench. Used a drill to bore holes around the center and then broke the outer ring off to get a good hold on the center. Then was able to remove the bolt. The rest of the repair was easy. Something had caught the chopper blade and unraveled the spring. Replaced all the parts and it is working fine now.

Dishwasher made crunching/grinding noise, then would not drain
Ordered the drain and wash impeller/chopper kit, which I received in 2 days. Great service. I watched the video on how to install the parts and the video was very clear and made the job seem easy. And it was easy, except for getting the impeller screw out. The impeller top was very brittle and pieces kept breaking off when trying to hold it with the adjustable wrench. Robo Grips didn't work any better. The only thing that finally got that screw out was a long handled socket wrench with an extension. You need the extra leverage if the screw is really stuck. Also note that the balls are definitely in the wrong place in the video. You need to remove them when doing the repair, then drop them back into the hole in the gasket/seal cover for the impeller after it is replaced. They will sit side-by-side if installed correctly. Turns out that the crunching/grinding noise was the chopper trying to chop up one of the clips that holds the silverware basket on the bottom rack. It was in many small pieces and had ripped up and split the impeller shaft. The dishwasher is back together and running perfectly. Thank you for very clear instructions on replacing the part and the quick delivery of the product.

I needed to replace the wheels on the dishwasher as one wheel was missing.
I used a screwdriver to snap off the old wheel carriers. When Ito attached the new pieces the tray wouldn't close. It was too wide. The person at Part Select was most helpful and patient but I still couldn't get them attached so the tray would fit. Then this week-end I visited my daughter and looked in her dishwasher, not the same brand but I could see how they attached, came home tonight and was able to figure it our easily. May I say a visual would have helped but your sales person was excellent.

Pump flow rate insufficient to drain tub completely
I watched the video then followed the procedure accessing the impeller/grinder from inside the tub. Had I not watched it, I would have torn into it from the bottom by removing the motor, etc. with disastrous results. I was quite depressed when installation of the impeller kit did not resolve the problem. I remembered from the survey that 56% of problems were solved with this kit; BUT, another 24% found that the check valve on the discharge line was the problem. So I removed it and lo and behold, it was partially plugged with broken pieces from the old impeller. The 1 page sheet that comes with the kit is simply a diagram of the parts included, there are no instructions ---- watch the video!!! All said and done, my experience with PartSelect was first class. They are 5 Stars in every category and I would highly recommend them.

Unit would not drain upon completion of the wash and rinse cycles
Replaced the lower seal, drain impeller, chopper blade, and wash impeller. Problem is still not solved but the inner parts have been replaced. Only thing logical next is the check valve. Unit cycles well and if I turn the dial to just before the rinse cycle and watch, I do see water draining from the unit...Of course while replacing these parts, I checked other things and found a loose spring behind the front cover. It can be seen on the diagram as it is part of the detergent door mechanism (or so I believe), but it is not clear on where the spring actually connects to.

Detergent dispenser didn't open consistently
My soap dispenser latch was coated in grit, the gasket was deteriorated, and the spring was barely strong enough to open the door, so the door didn't always latch closed or open when it should. I followed the video and everything went exactly as shown. Once the liner was removed, I discovered the back (including the latch mechanism) was covered in soap residue and other gunk. I hosed it off on the backyard and resumed the repair. The dispenser now latches easily and opens with a convincing SNAP. I wouldn't have known how to replace the latch without the video. Great website!

Soap cup latch was broken and dispenser cover was worn.
Replacing the cup latch and dispenser cover was pretty easy. First, I removed the inside cover of the door of the dishwasher. Then I carefully removed the plastic covers/slides on the door, removed the broken cup latch and then inserted the new one. Replaced the plastic covers/slides, the reinstalled the inside cover on the dishwasher. Next, I removed the dispenser cover and installed the new one. It snaps off/on, by the way. It only looks like it slides on/off.

Dishwasher wouldn't drain
Turn off the breaker to the dishwasher - there will be water very near the motor and other electrical components. I first scooped and towelled all the water out of the bottom of the dishwasher. The drain valve can be accessed from the bottom front of the dishwasher without pulling the unit out from under the counter. There were 4 screws to remove the 2 bottom metal panels. Next use pliers to loosen and slide back the hose clamp connected to the drain. Have a towel ready and pull the drain hose off the white check valve. The check valve can then be removed by unscrewing it - you may need to use pliers. Put the new one on and everything back together.

the rollers were completly broken off & I had to lift the bottom tray in/out of the dishwasher
popped off the old rollers + tracks; then snapped on the new ones; as my granddaughter would say "easy peasy lemon squeezy". Took hardly any time at all. :-)
