First I had to buy a new tray. I tried to remove the wheels from the old tray but they wouldn't come off without breaking. I ordered new wheels and axels and they went on fine with the aid of a C-clamp. Then I tried to remove the old bumpers but they broke when I tried to remove them.
So, I ordered two new bumpers. When I did I saw that another user had posted a note saying that the new bumpers slipped on well if heated in hot water first. So, I heated them in hot water and they slipped on easily and safely.

Everything worked perfectly---thanks to the suggestion of your call center agent. She suggested that since the replacement door handles were no longer available, I should consider repainting them--it worked like a charm. Please tell her she was a life saver. We rent that house in Fl and my returning tenants had complained about the discoloring refer handles. Thank you

Removed bottom rack and replaced axles and wheels, works just like new and did it without any assistance from my son or Husband.

Warm rollers and holders in warm water for 2 min each slide on all done

Very, very simple. The axles are nylon plastic and snap into the plastic-coated metal grid that forms the lower dishwasher rack. Over time they get brittle and break.
Replacement consists of snapping the old axle out of the rack and snapping the new one in. I replaced some of the wheels at the same time, as we had lost them. The wheels don't seem to wear out, so if you did this repair in time, you could re-use the wheels.
These little axles are EXPENSIVE ($3.50 each!), but for $30 you can replace all eight of them, and your dishwasher rack will work like new again!

One of the axles broke off, requiring no removal. The other wheel broke off, but the axle remained. That required squeezing (pliers) to push out. Replacement was easy; just put wheel onto axle and push axle through mounting space. Total: 5 minute job.

I removed the broken axle with the help of a small screwdriver and replaced it with a new one. Then I installed a new roller, which was easy because all I had to do was push it on with my fingers.

One of the easiest repairs I've ever made on anything and now I'm happy because my wife is happy!

removed the two cover in front of the dishwasher then removed the water inlet valve located behind these covers. replaced the old valve with a new valve by connecting the water supply line and the outlet hose going to the dishwasher.

For several years I endured difficulty in pushing in and pulling out a fully loaded lower dishwasher tray in my KitchenAid Superba dishwasher. The tray would "fall out" out of its "track" and jam requiring me to lift up the whole tray to try to pull it out. Then one of the plastic roller "axles" broke and its wheel fell off. So I went on to Part Select's website to find a replacement. When I got it in the mail I replaced the one that broke. I noticed how much more rigid the wheel then ran on its "track." Old roller wheels and axles were broken and already falling off. I simply replaced the roller axles and snapped on the new roller wheels.

Simply popped on new axles and wheels and dishwasher works like new!
