end cap for roller guide and latch clip had been missing for a while and I had improvised with packing tape and wire. I wish I had known how easy it would be.
had to fiddle around just a bit to look at the others and see how these fit in. No tools were required - just snapped into place once I figured them out.

Grinding noise from Dishwasher
Excellent site. When the dishwasher started making a loud grinding sound, i thought "oh great -- now I'll have to buy a new one". After searching the internet (I just entered the model number of my Maytag dishwasher), Partsselect.com came up in the search results. I read several postings from previous customers which described the same problem I was having... followed their step-by-step instructions and was able to disassemble the lower washer arm and find the culprit -- a broken wash impeller. Ordered the parts, they arrived within a couple of days, spent 15 mins putting everything back together and I'm now good to go! THANKS PARTS SELECT!!!!! I owe somebody a free lunch!

The upper tray came crashing down on top of the lower tray because a couple of wheels let go over time.
I ordered the parts after looking at the diagrams. I ordered a total of 5 pieces.
The parts arrive earlier than expected, and were new, OEM, parts. I cannot stress how important it is to order Original Equipment Manufacturer parts.
I replaced the broken pieces within 30 minutes. Great experience.

Racks were old and had many pieces rusted and broken off
Top rack locking caps removed and replacement rack slid right in. Bottom rack slightly more difficult as I had to figure out how to remove spray tower from old rack. Used flat screwdriver to pry gently up on locking tabs and twisted to remove. Pushed down and twisted opposite way until engaged locking tabs.

Stained upper and lower dishwasher racks.
Pretty easy. Lower rack, simple. Upper rack took some time to figure out how to remove the plastic rack stops. After that just removed old rack then installed new rack and reattached the stops. Reason for replacing racks, with the door closed, there was a back wash from an ailing garbage disposal into the dishwasher which was left in there for awhile. It stained the racks beyond repair. I replaced the disposal along with under sink drain pipes, which were rotten, with plastic piping. DIY and save a lot of money.

Dishes not getting cleaned
Looked into the problem, cleaned the sprayers out to no avail. Looked at drawings of dishwasher and noticed it had a filter. That seemed to be the next easiest thing to check. Removed the lower spray arm with channel locks, then removed the filter housing by removing 6 screw, removed old filter, replaced with new and reversed the above steps for re-assembly.
Piece of cake!

Top Shower Hose developed a leak
I removed the four screws that hold the front kick plates on. Then, I removed the hose clamp (on the right side of the pump that secures the top shower hose assembly to the pump assembly. Then I pulled the dishwasher out, and pulled out the four black snap clips that hold the insulation in place. I then folded the insulation back and reached inside the dishwasher to disconnect the hose assembly. On the top spray arm is a nut that is easily removed without any special tools.
Be sure to save the rubber washer unless you order a new one along with the top shower hose.
Overall, an easy fix. Saved about $100.00 by doing it myself.

The original basket had holes broken in the bottom
When the (overpriced) replacement silverware basket arrived (rapidly, within a few days of my ordering) I was shocked and angry that the handle for the basket was not included--nor were instructions included as to how to remove the old handle from the old basket in order to fasten it to the new basket. Therefore, I spent a considerable amount of time trying to pry the handle off the old one, which was quite tricky: There were four slots which held the plastic "catches", and they had to be pushed out simultaneously. I had to fiddle with it for at least a half hour, trying various implements, until I found that I could push them out simultaneously by wedging butter knives into the slots and then easing the handle off. (I was careful to position myself so that I wouldn't slip and stab myself with the blunt butter knife.) After that, the handle snapped fairly easily into the new basket's slots.
In the end, while I was glad to be able to recycle the old handle, I wish that the basket and shelves were made more durably so they wouldn't have to be replaced, or that they could be replaced at a more reasonable price.

Latch handle was broken and cracked
Had to disassemble the door, using a Torx 20 driver to remove about 10 screws. Then pulled the door apart and used a 1/4" nut driver to remove two screws. Replaced the handle, reassembled the door and all worked normally! Easy repair for anyone with the confidence to take apart the door.

Right side roller of upper basket kept coming off track because one of the 2 wheels was broken which came with the replacement strip. The plate was also broken and replaced to hold the strip in place. Easy fix.
Simply took old parts off and replaced them with new parts - no tools required.
