Dishwasher not draining, water left in bottom when cycle completed
Thought hoses were clogged. Cleaned hoses but no obstructions. Googled the problem and found many similar problems. On PartSelect, the Piston and Nut Assembly was found to be the problem 44% of the time. I ordered the part and it arrived two days later. PartSelect showed how to install it and the problem was fixed.

Water Would Not Drain
Went on line to order new pump. Web site showed "parts which repaired this problem and nut and valve had very high % as the failed part". I then removed nut and valve and was able to see that it was worn as they described. This was a very easy repair and worked perfectly. It saved me from ordering a $60. 00 Pump which would not have fixed my problem. Thank you for a great help for the diys people.

Dishwasher not draining completely
This was a piece of cake! Simply removed the rear drain cover with a nut driver and unscrewed the piston from its seat. I noted that the seal in the old piston had deteriorated over time. I rubbed a little petroleum jelly on the upper gasket of the new piston and simply screwed it into place, solving the problem entirely. Could not believe how quickly the part was delivered - next day!

Dishwasher was not draining.
The dishwasher would drain correctly 3 out of 4 times and the original part did not appear to be in bad shape. Decided to change anyway based on posted success rate in resolving the issue and the low cost of the part. After one month of daily operation the issue has been completely resolved. Could not have been any easier!

Lower rack had rusted through in several areas.
Pulled out the old and rolled in the replacement. The easiest part of the repair was ordering from the PartSelect website and receiving it via FedEx Ground the next day. Thank you PartSelect. Even my husband could have been successful with this.
