There was a roller missing from the lower washing rack.
There were 5 rollers still in place so I used them to show me how to snap the replacement roller in place.

The valve allowed water to fill the dishwasher when not in use.
This was the third time I replaced a fill valve in a Bosch diswasher, twice in this unit and once in a previous unit. I read the installation hints on your web site and want to add the following suggestion.

The notes on your web site say you can remove the valve from behind the toe face and pull it out to reach the hose and plug. I found that the Bosch designers called for both the hose and wire to on the short side. I found that pulling the dishwasher forward 6" to 9" allows you to access these connections from the side at least to hold them while making the connection. I hope this helps. Thank you, Bill

Dishwasher was pouring water during the rinse cycle. put the machine up on milk crates to find the source of the leak. The water was coming from the bottom corner of the door. Fount the orig gasket torn
Remove the dishwasher from under the counter. Remove door springs. On the inside of the lip of the door remove the 6 screws that hold the outer door panel on, and remove panel. this will expose hinge screws. Remove the two screws per side holding the inner door to the hinge assembly. Take pictures of the way the gasket's grey plastic end cap assembles between the inner door frame and the hinge, and remove the inner door. The old gasket has a channel lip that sits on the plastic edge of the washer tub, pull it off this lip and discard. Install new gasket and put it all back together! Use this opportunity to clean the gunk out of the upper door seals.

dishwasher not draining, dishes dirty
replacing the control unit was fairly simple, just pop the old one out and plug in the new one, but didn't solve the problem, it's a float sensor that doesn't show up on the tech sheet in the dishwasher or anywhere in troubleshooting on the internet I could find.

No water in machine, can not wash dishes.
Turn off water, disconnect power cord, remove front kickplate. Remove 2 screws that hold the water inlet valve, pull it out, disconnect electrical connection, disconnect water supply.. Check the inlet valve with volt-ohm meter for continuity. If it is good, then the valve is stuck shut. The ohm reading should be in the 900-1100 range. Replace valve, installation is the reverse.

Poor cleaning of dishes and calcium build up on filter
I watch utube to assess the problem then took eveything apart and saw the build up on the filter, which i had never cleaned. I tried to clean it but was unsuccessful so order the filter from partselect and it came within a couple of days, installed very easily and began to clean as it always had.

Dishwasher would not start and had not completely drained.
Tried the door lock first. Did not fix the problem.

Replaced the drain pump and it fixed the problem.

Parts Select identified the pump as the most frequent problem.

Next time I will order both parts when one is cheap for any repair.

Find Parts Select is very helpful. They have identified a problem with a washing machine in the past.

I will use them for future problems.
