How to Access, Remove, and Inspect the Electronic Control Board
- Unplug your machine and shut off the water valves.
- To access the control board, you need to begin by removing the timer knob. You can use a piece of string to make this easier.
- Detach the control panel from the machine to access the control board.
- Make a note of where the control board wires are connected and proceed to remove them.
- At this point, you can test the terminals on the control board with a multimeter. If there is no reading or the reading is negative, then the control board has failed, and it needs to be replaced.

How to Install a New Electronic Control Board
- Take your new control board and connect all the wires to the appropriate terminals.
- Fit the control board back onto the panel and ensure it locks in place.
- Slide the top panel of the washer back on, and then re-attach the rear screws.
- Plug your machine back in.
