Meet Chris, our highly experienced in-house repair technician and popular video host. Chris grew up in a small rural town in Atlantic Canada, where he discovered that he had a passion for taking things apart as a child and figuring out how they worked. This passion led to a reputation in his community as the go-to person for fixing just about anything! And of course, Chris was always ready to lend a helping hand. He formalized his training by completing trade school and went on to work for large brand names such as Sears as a repair technician and eventually as a district manager and contract manager.

Over the course of his 40-year career, Chris has amassed a wealth of knowledge and experience in repairing a wide range of home appliances, lawn equipment and power tools. Chris has always been dedicated to his craft and he has helped tens of thousands of customers with repairs in and around their homes. Today, Fix.com is proud to have Chris as our very own in-house expert technician. He uses his decades of experience and camera-ready face to guide our technical writers and designers and to share his knowledge through enjoyable video tutorials that help people with their DIY repairs. Whatever the problem is with your appliance or tool, you can rest assured that Chris has seen it all and is the best man for the job.

But Chris isn’t all work and no play. When he isn't in front of the camera, he can be found spending time with his family or enjoying the great outdoors. He finds peace and serenity in nature and enjoys nothing more than riding out on his motorcycle. When he's not out on the open road, Chris can be found camping under the stars. He is also a big animal lover and has spent most of his life surrounded by horses, dogs and even chickens over the years!
