#1 I watched your video on removing the Agitator Cap Barrier with Seal and it looked extremely easy but it will not come off for me. I don't want break the plastic. Do you have any suggestions on how to remove it?
#2 the other thing is the softener dispenser. The one I have is not as long as the one in your video. Mine actually looks like the one in the parts diagram that you show on your website. It comes as an assembly. What I need to know is the part inside the assembly is shaped like a cone. Does the suppose point upward or down ward, in the assembly?
Thank you for your time.

Hello George, Thank you for your inquiry. You can try using a flat head screw driver or putty knife to gently pry up the sides of the cap or alternatively use a little bit of soap or oil to loosen the cap. The videos are made for multiple models and are designed to give you a general idea of the repair. The top part of the dispenser should say liquid fabric softener dispenser, and the tapered part should point downward. Good luck with your repair.

Agitator not working correctly and leaking from somewhere underneath.
I watched the videos before I ordered the part and when the order arrived I replaced the parts with no problems. The most time consuming part of the job was cleaning the washer. You will be surprised to find what will accumulate down there after years of service. The order came in in record time so this site gets an A+ for being fast and accurate. No back-orders either. I will surely use for any-other parts I need in the future.

The clothes mover on the agitator was not turning properly.
This washer is 17 years old. The whole assembly didn't cost that much more than the parts I needed so I decided to replace the whole agitator assembly not just the dog ear assembly. The video on part select were helpful. I removed the fabric softener dispenser. Reached in and removed the cap barrier with seal. Did this by hand, needle nose pliers were not necessary. Remove the retaining bolt using a 7/16 socket wrench with a 8" extension. Reach in and grab the bottom of the lower agitator and pull the whole assembly straight up out of the washer. I assembled the new parts placing the thrust spacer on top of the agitator. I placed the preassembled cam with dog ears and bearing down into the bottom of the clothes mover. I placed the clothes mover onto the agitator making sure the cam assembly lined up with the thrust spacer properly before I snapped the clothes mover in place. This was the most difficult part of the assembly but was still easy I placed this assembly over the drive shaft of the washer and re-attached the retaining screw and washer. I coated the seal of the barrier cap with liquid detergent and placed it into the clothes mover. Snapped the fabric softener dispenser. Done, works great. It took longer for me to write this than it did to fix the washer.
