Timer Control Knob.
The old knob was broken, leaving only the stem. Just back off the stem carefully and than you will see that the shaft is exposed. Just pull out the shaft and push the center in with a screwdriver. Now take the new timer knob and line it up with the shaft. Snap the new timer on and it will lock in place. Job done.
