Door Lock Was Not Working.
I went on this site. From checking the possible problems listed here, I was able to determine what part I needed. I ordered it. It came in a day and a half. I reviewed the repair video that was linked to my specific problem and followed along with the repairman and removed the broken lock mechanism. Then, I plugged the new lock mechanism back in and reassembled it, making sure to keep the screws separated. This way they all were put back in their correct locations. It worked out quite well and in about 20 minutes, I was washing clothes again. It saved me a great deal of money. Hats off to this site. I've repaired three appliances this way and all have worked out quite well. Give it a try, before you pay for an expensive service call.

Door would not close
I am a 67 yr old woman, and was able to do this relatively easy. I used the socket to remove the 3 screws from the top and removed it. Unplugged the 3 wires, then removed the 3 screws inside the door. Pulled it out and replaced with the new one, reversing the procedure. It works great!
