Dryer element was broken.
We took off the front and top of the dryer unit, removed the drum and belt to access the element. The heater "pan" was screwed into the back wall of the dryer but the bearing had to be removed to remove the pan. That part was a little difficult but it came off (with some skin as well!). Once the bearing was removed we removed the old pan and installed the new and reset the bearing. The drum was difficult to align with the screw holes while upright so we laid it flat and secured it. We put the belt around the back of the drum while it was still flat and then secured it around the pulley once it was upright again. We replaced the panels in proper position and started the dryer with success. This

The rear drum bearing back holding bracket fell off and unit is built into wall.
Replacing the rear drum bearing "back of machine bracket" without moving the unit - if it drops off the back. 1. Remove all equipment except for the heating element and housing. 2. Start to remove the bearing cradle and mounting bracket but this is what to do if "you drop the back bracket as I did." 3. After everything is removed from the center back you will see a slop where the metal cradle mounts just below the screw holes and the center hole. 4. Take a piece of thin but strong thread - as nylon - approx. 2' long and just double it. 5. Push the loop end (open ends toward you) through the center hole so you can see it moving through the slot and use any thin instrument to "fish" the loop end through to yourself. 6. Now make sure you have your new kit parts, nut driver, awl, mounting screws, laid out in front of you for easy access. 7. Take the rear mounting bracket (with the 2 holes in it and center tab) and wrap 2 turns of the loop around the center tab while you still have the ends of the thread through the center hole next to you. You can tie one loop if you want - it just makes it harder to take out later but that is ok. 8. Now you are ready to pull the mounting bracket through the slot up to the center hole. It should be now directly centered. 9. Adjust hole and put one screw loosely in while still holding the bracket in place with the thread (keep tight), then tighten the screw tight. 9. Now you are ready to put the cradle, bearing, front mounting bracket (as per video instructions) in place on the open end where the hole is aligned. 10. Tighten the screw snug but still letting you able to move the bracket toward the screw that was holding the back bracket in place. 11. Loosen that screw into place and if needing adjusted - use the awl and finish aligning and installing. 12. Cut the thread and or unloosen and take out. Everything should now be ready for re installation of all other equipment. Wish you the best.

Our dryer was making a high squeaking noise then a lower rumble. Time to fix.
This is a stackable washer dryer removed door and top so as to remove drum. Sure enough the bearing was worn bad.replaced following your video.First tried to snap drum into bearing with drum plate attached but because of ceiling height unable.Removed bearing plate from drum snapped into bearing then the fun began. It was difficult to line up the first of 3 screws but with my wife steadying it finally able to get them fastened. Your video was very helpful . Thanks
