The bake element is found in the bottom of the oven and is used to provide the heat necessary to cook or bake. If your oven is not coming up to temperature, will not heat up at all, or has inconsistent temperatures, then a faulty bake element may be to blame. This genuine OEM bake element is 240 Volt and 1200 Watts and is a partially open tapered style with push-on wire terminals. Before replacing this part, please be sure to disconnect the power supply to your range.
