Product Description

The bake element is found in the bottom of the oven and is used to provide the heat necessary to cook or bake. If your oven is not coming up to temperature, will not heat up at all, or has inconsistent temperatures, then a faulty bake element may be to blame. This genuine OEM bake element is 240 Volt and 1200 Watts and is a partially open tapered style with push-on wire terminals. Before replacing this part, please be sure to disconnect the power supply to your range.

The tag in my oven reads 3.1 kilowatts @ 208 volts - 3.6 kilowatts @ 240 volts. the replacement part states it's 240V 2100W. Am I looking at the wrong part? Or will this work?

Bottom heating element no longer heating
MAKE SURE ALL ELECTRICAL CURRENT IS CUT OFF FROM OVEN. 1. Need needle nose pliers & Phillips head screwdriver. 2. Remove screws from rear oven wall where old Heating element is attached. 3. Gently pull wiring from insulation until clips on the wiring are clearly visible. 4. Using needle nose pliers pull clip attaching old heating el ement apart from the wiring end of clip. The heating element finally gave up...burned through.
Replacement part arrived promptly. We'd already removed the old part, so installing the new burner was simply plugging in and replacing brackets and screws. Easy, peasy.

Lower heat element burned out and would no longer get hot.
Easy repair. Turned off power to the oven. Took out the 2 screws in the rear of the oven that held the lower heating element in. Pulled the heating element out slowly about 3 inches exposing the wire connectors. Used a flat head screwdriver to pry the connectors off carefully. Reversed the procedure to install the new element and the wif e started baking again.
