CARBURETOR W/PRIME 753-05251

An engine that starts but soon stops may have a blocked or damaged carburetor. Other signs include poor speed control, fuel leaks, and a primer that will not fill. The carburetor controls the mix of fuel and air needed for the engine to run. Similar problems can come from old fuel, a blocked filter, cracked hoses, or a dirty spark plug. Check these items first. Confirm fit with the complete machine model number because similar engines may use different parts. Allow the engine to cool and empty the fuel tank before service. Reconnect each hose and control cable in its original place, then test for leaks outdoors.
