It is a genuine item that is supplied by the original equipment manufacturer for use with edgers, engines, multi-tools, and trimmers made by Tanaka and Hitachi. The hex-hole bolt attaches to the holder-blade guard. During the installation process, an allen wrench will be needed to replace this part. It will need to be replaced if it becomes broken or stripped. Keep in mind that this part is made of metal and is sold individually.
