Product Description

This is a manufacturer authorized replacement part designed for use with cultivators. The purpose of a carburetor is to mix air and gas before the fuel mix goes to the engine. If the engine won't start and the tank is full of fresh fuel, test the carburetor by removing the air filter and pouring about a teaspoon of fuel into the carburetor. Pull the starter rope. If the engine starts and then quickly dies, the carburetor is likely the problem. This assembly includes a metal body carburetor with a rubber primer bulb. When replacing carburetor it is advised that you also replace carburetor gaskets to ensure proper air tight seal for optimum performance. You will need a screwdriver to perform this repair.

My powermate tiller, pcv43, does not engage the tines when running. Do you have a repair kit or video?

Hi Luis, thank you for contacting us. The tines in your cultivator might not be engaging because of a loose or damaged throttle cable, part number FIX10041055. It controls how much tension is on the drive belt idler pulley. A loose cable would result in a loose drive belt causing slipping. We have attached a video to help you adjust the throttle cable.
