Product Description

This fuel tank cap fits on top of the fuel tank in your lawn equipment. It prevents gasoline from spilling out and keeps moisture and dirt from entering the tank. If the cap is damaged, it will be visibly broken and may not fit snugly on your fuel tank. This can allow debris to enter the fuel tank, which can cause engine problems. Thus, it is important to replace a damaged cap immediately. To remove the cap from your machine, start by turning your machine off and letting it cool down. Then, twist the cap counterclockwise to loosen it before lifting the cap straight up. Please note that this OEM-certified replacement part is sold separately.

I need fuel cap and air filers cover for B2200 Craftsman Leaf blower

Hi Jim, thank you for reaching out. The air filter cover and fuel tank cap do not come separately. The air filter cover comes with the air cleaner assembly, part number is FIX16429097, and the fuel tank cap comes as a part of the fuel tank., part number FIX12496125. Good luck with this repair!
