I I ruined the orig electric start by holding button too long. So needed new starter.
For 81 yr old, starter was heavy so needed another pair of hands to hold the starter while doing bolts. No need to take off Gas Tank (as some comments had indicated). No need to do anything with the TOP bolts, just slide old unit off and the new one "on" then bolt the bottom ones. Started 1st time.
