Water was not entering the icemaker tray
I initially replaced the water inlet valve, but that did not correct the problem. Replacing the icemaker control did. I removed the icemaker assembly by unscrewing the 3 nuts with a socket wrench and unplugging the icemaker assembly. I snapped off the white end piece, unscrewed the 3 screws, & removed the old icemaker control. I installed the new unit with a Phillips screwdriver, replaced the icemaker, plugged it in, and tightened the 3 bracing screws. The unit began making ice in one hour.

Replace Fill cup
Sadly, although it appears you could just snap the fill cup into the groove on the tray, this is not the case. You must remove and disassemble the ice tray assembly to replace this small part. Luckily, this is not terribly difficult. Here are the steps: 1-Remove hex-screw on bottom of ice tray assembly, and loosen two screws on top. 2-Lift assembly off top screws to remove from side of freezer. 3-Unplug power cord. 4-Unsnap front cover on front of unit. 5-Remove ice make motor by removing the screws on front of the unit. 6-Remove Motor Housing by removing the tow recessed screws toward the bottom. 7-Now the ejector arm should be free. Slide it forward from the groove in the ice tray. 8-Remove old fill cup from ejector arm, and slide new fill cup onto it. 9-Reassemble ice tray assembly reversing the steps above.

Icemaker leaking water when water filling tray
Icemaker was leaking; read other repair scenarios and determined (hoped) the cause of the leak may have been the seal eroding around the heating coil, therefore tried replacing that piece of the Icemaker. I ordered the part from and followed the EXTREMELY helpful video on YouTube provided by this site and the part replacement was successful and the Icemaker no longer leaks and is working perfectly. Thank you so much for saving me tons of money!!
