switch and trigger for saw stopped working
1, unplug saw
2. take out all 7 screws on the saw handle
3. separate handle as best you can-(it will not come apart completely) so place 2 or 3 wood shims between handle parts to be able to access trigger and switch
4. unplug 3 wires attached to black switch and pull out both yellow trigger and black switch. (pat attenti ... Read more on to how the black switch sits on the yellow trigger
5. replace with new trigger and switch-you have to pay attention to existing holes in the handle that hold the trigger in place and make sure the small black button on the bottom of the switch rests on the small shelf on the top of yellow trigger-also wires have slots to hold them in place as well
6. take out shims but don't put screws back yet and test-if not running-re- check the little button on the bottom of the switch to make sure it hits the little shelf on the trigger correctly ( had to do this 2X to get it right.)
put it back together
