Does this model have 2 circulating fans 1 in freezer and 1 in refrigerator, not counting compressor fan? How can I test fans test fans?

Hello David, thank you for your question. There is only 1 Evaporator Fan in the refrigerator and it is part FIX12383671. Once the multimeter is correctly connected and switched on, if you notice a low resistance reading, typically anything less than 100 Ohm, then the charge produced by the testing unit is flowing normally, and the coil is working fine.

A Bit Difficult

Both Fans quit working, Got IF and FF codes. Temperature was high
Unplug frig! 1st remove the bin and basket shelves then the bottom door by remving two screws that hold the arms to the glides, the left side gear will come off after you take a small flat screw driver and tip the tap right behind the gear and release it. At an angle remove the gear with the rod, leave the other gear in place. Then the screws in the glides that attach them to the side walls. Now the back grill will come out by pulling the grill out top-then-side, etc. when it comes out you can only pull it out as far as the wires are long. Lay the grill down and unplug the fans from the back wall. (Don't pull the wires) I had to use needle nose on the IF plug (bottom)and another pair of regular pliers to remove the red plug from the bottom plug receptical. Then take the grill and fans to a table and remove the fans with a phillips screw driver. You can check the fans with a 12v battery by connecting the positive to the red wire and negative to the black. (Don't touch the purple wire with juice), You'll fry the Microprosessor. To install reverse steps.
