motor to ice maker receptacle was rounded out at the shaft and the hopper replaced ice hopper and shaft and all is well

Ice wouldn't come out into a cup
i removed the ice container and noticed that the rod looked a bit rounded. I used a small socket and removed the screws. I laid aside the plastic pieces and pulled out the rod. I had to figure out where to find the rod on the website. It took longer to find the part than the repair itself. I receive the part I needed and had it together i

n five minutes. FYI: if you need the rod don't order the plastic sleeve that's on it. The rod comes with it already on it. I ordered it because the picture shows them separate and it don't say they come together.

Replace worn drive shaft on ice maker
Removed bracket holding shaft just below the ice carrier. Pulled out the old shaft with a pair of pliers. Inserted new shaft by hand. Replaced bracket. Job done.
