Frsot build up and ice not coming out of shoot.
Couldn't get the trim board off, don't waste your time trying to do that. Remove the control panel by inserting screw driver in three holes. Lift up and out. Then you can follow the rest of the video explaining how to get your parts in.

Freezer door flap would not close from the ice dispenser and the door would collect a block of solid ice.
Follow the installation videos they have on their website and it's very easy to replace all of these parts. Only issue I had was the top screw on the selenoid had rusted in place and instead of trying to get it out I simply wiggled the old part out, and wiggled the new one in its place. It worked great. My model has black shiny plastic i nserts for the freezer and refrigerator door and it is easier to take the top trim molding off the freezer door to slide out the decorative plastic which allows you to pop the frame around the icemaker out much easier. Careful not to break clips on the decorative trim.

door on ice dispenser not closing tightly
Recommend watching the videos by this site which are excellent. Once front panel is removed and access is gained, the few screws removed to replace the door spring and the solenoid is straight forward and easy. Once back together, hearing the dispenser door 'snap' shut was very nice. Also, kudos to this site on how quickly that they shipped the order!

Broken latch on dishwasher
Due to an injury to my hand, my wife attempted to repair the latch on our dishwasher by watching the video on this site. The only difficulty was in disconnecting the piece that held the control panel to the door. In the video, the guy's arm is in the way so she wasn't sure how to remove the clip that held it in place. The rest of the repa ir went very smoothly and she was very proud of herself for fixing the dishwasher. By the way, the parts arrived here in less than 24 hours.

The in-door ice maker flapper door had stopped opening to allow ice to fall into the glass
Similar to online videos for other GE in-door models. Unplug. Pull the in-door water/ice control panel out from the bottom, it is a click fit. Unplug the 3 wire harness fittings from the back of the board and set it aside. remove the 4 screws at the corners of the paddle housing and remove. All of the flapper solenoid, door spring and cra nk are now exposed. Remove old solenoid by removing 2 bottom screws and loosening the top screw, then pull it out at the bottom and slide off of upper screw. Remove plunger hanging form door crank. Remove door crank and spring held in by screws. Assemble new flapper onto crank (click fit) and replace crank and spring into door. Hang new solenoid plunger onto crank arm, and reinstall solenoid with 3 screws. Reinstall paddle housing with 4 screws. Reinsert 3 wire harness connecters onto back of control board. Slide control board into recess at the top and click bottom into place.

Frost buildup in icemaker opening
I tried to follow the video about removing the plate/cover around the dispenser area but to no avail. I broke two of the screws before I ended up removing the inside of the door. After removing the inside of the door the repair went as described in the video except it seemed to be much easier since it was all out in the open and you cou ld see everything clearly. Take care putting the dispenser back in the door, make sure you get the water tube in the right place or you will have to take it apart again to make it right. Easy repair.
