Evaporator fan erratic, evaporator frozen up, defrost heater burnt out, refrigerator would not restart after plugging in.
After reading several other repair descriptions I decided to replace the evaporator thermistor, defrost thermostat, and defrost heater. Followed the videos supplied for each repair. However, I had trouble reaching the defrost thermostat and decided to remove the ice maker and the rear evaporator air duct. I used crimp on electrical con nectors with a dab of shoe goo to seal. All problems seem to be resolved. Time will tell on the long term defrost issue. Lack of access is the major difficulty. In door ice flapper was replaced as described in video also.
