Bottom bake element would not heat on 40 year old wall oven.
After throwing off the circuit breaker, I used a nutdriver to loosen the existing 2 screws holding the bake element at back of oven. Slightly pulled on the element to reveal the attachment to the wiring. Used a screwdriver to loosen those 2 screws and removed the burned out element. I then attached the new part with the provided new screws to the wiring. Pushed all back inside the opening and used 2 screws to attach the new part to the back of oven.Turned on circuit breaker, turned on oven and it heated perfectly.

oven heating element burned out
I do not wish to talk about such simple repair. If you ordered the part you knew how to repair. What I do wish to mention is the company I purchased the part. THEY are the best experience I have ever experienced. The shipped immediately as they said. It was two days from order to delivery. The part was perfect. The total cost was less than half of another quote. They are forever on my favorites list.

lower element was burt out.Oven did not heat
Part came is 2 days, took less than 15 min. to disconnect old one with 2 screws and lead wires, then hook new one up with lead wires and 2 screws provided. This is a 45+ year old overhead and lower oven and range. It is in my 89 years old parents kitchen. They were worried they would have to get a whole new oven which would mean moving cabinets and countertops because old oven in not standard size. ( they thought maybe they could just go without the oven and eat tv dinners in micro, YUCH). it was an easy fix for less than $30 and under 15min time. My mother was delighted and my dad relieved, They had 40 people for dinner 2 days later!!! YOU GUYS ARE GREAT!!!

The Grinch that broke my element.
Fix.com was able to supply an element for my 1959 GE wall oven. We love this oven and the element broke a week before Christmas. We are grateful for the expediate delivery and our holiday was saved. Thank you.
