This is a genuine OEM part that has been sourced directly from Alpha. This is a 2 piece set of carbon bushes commonly used in tile saws. These carbon brushes comes with wire lead and brush spring attached. Carbon bushes in your tile saw take the electricity from outside the motor and use it drive the spinning armature. Over time these carbon brushes will wear down, this is due to the amount of friction they experience. Signs your carbon brushes might be worn down are that the motor is running intermittently, there are electric breaking issues, and engine is experiencing reduced power. We recommend you replace both carbon brushes at the same time, even if only one is worn out. Before you begin this repair make sure you unplug your power tool.

This is a genuine OEM part that has been sourced directly from Alpha. The brush cap is mounted on the outside of the brush holder. This cap holds the carbon brush in place, while also allowing you to easily access the part for replacement. When carbon brushes wear out they can cause motor malfunction, which is why you need a way to access the brushes. The carbon brush caps are located at the rear of the motor, and there is one on each side. The caps simply screw into place. The carbon brush cap is made of plastic, and it is sold individually.

This is a genuine Alpha replacement part. This brush terminal assembly is used in tile saws. There are two bushes, one located on either side of the motor; they use electricity from the battery to energize the coils consecutively. As each one becomes energized it?s drawn to the magnets on either side of the armature, this is what drives it to spin. This bush terminal assembly is sold individually. Before attempting repair on your power tools make sure they are unplugged.

This is an authentic Alpha replacement part. This ball bearing is used in the motor of tile saw. Ball bearings are found on the armature of the motor in your power tools, they are what allow parts within your tools and motors to spin or rotate smoothly. Ball bearings are used to reduce friction between rotating parts, which is why they are commonly used in power tools. Over time these ball bearing will wear down, inside your power tool there is a lot of heat and friction produced. Signs the ball bearing in your tool need to be replaced are excessive heat coming from bearing locations, your power tool will start to make unusual sounds, and you will notice the spindle/armature not moving as freely as it once was. Metal shields on either side of the bearing help limit the amount of dirt and debris getting into the bearing during operation. This bearing is made of metal, and is sold individually.
