Replacement brushes did not fit.
I removed old brushes, and seeing they did not match, I made modifications to the new set. This was done by rotating the brush set 90*, and beveling the edges to match the previous set. This took a little finesse using a knife and sandpaper to fit the tolerances.
All said and done with the new brushes in place, it ran!
