Knob broke accidental tip over
Knob for old workbench was a different size but this wasn’t obvious. I tried to hammer in the “snap in” knob and broke the handle. Gorilla glue fixed that and all is well. Now, why did they change the size of the workmate knobs? Who knows. Read more...

Fix Number
FIX9927397
Manufacturer Part Number
242394-00
This is a single OEM foot for a workmate. Your unit will have four of these in total, so it is recommended to inspect all four feet and order the appropriate amount you need. The foot is what keeps the unit stable and level, so if one of more are damaged or missing this can make the workmate unbalanced.

A broken crank arm and knob had been replaced by one of dad's "creative" solutions (a pipe fitting & a rusty nail bent at a 90 degree angle). Yikes!
It would have been super easy if I had just had to follow your repair video. However, I had to punch out the metal pin, which went thru dad's make-shift repair (the pipe fitting) It was a bit stubborn. After that, I put the crank arm on & snapped the new knob on. If users follow your repair video, it should be very easy. Read more...

FIX10016520
Manufacturer Part Number
807530-02
This is a genuine replacement grip that is sold individually. The grip is used on a workmate to secure work pieces on top of the jaws. The grip fits into the holes in the vise jaws and can be rotated to hold awkwardly shaped pieces. Due to its plastic material, it can become brittle, causing the locking tabs or shaft to break. Repairs do not get much easier than this. The grip can be placed in any of the holes on your work mate. Each grip has two locking tabs which will need to be aligned with the tabs on the hole in the workmate and then pressed into place.
