$6.51
In Stock
Fix Number
FIX12533153
Manufacturer Part Number
N424032
This genuine OEM hog ring is used in impact drivers. It is a thick, circular wire with a diameter of 0.5 inches. It is positioned around the output shaft where it grips and secures the socket or adapter. Over time, the hog ring may corrode, break, or lose tension leading to socket instability. To remove a faulty hog ring, use needle-nose pliers or a small flat-head screwdriver to carefully pry it out of the mounting groove around the output shaft. Slide a new hog ring in the empty space until it locks into place. Inspect all the hog rings in your equipment and replace all those that are no longer functional. Each hog ring is sold individually.

Because retaining ring locations and sizes can vary between models, refer to your tool's parts diagram or service manual to confirm the correct application before installation. Sold individually.

Genuine Dewalt/Black & Decker replacement part. includes 1 Carbon Brush with wire lead and brush spring attached. 2 Brushes are needed for the tools listed below. • Worn brushes are often the cause of a poorly running motor • Replacing brushes can fix an intermittent motor • New brushes can restore a motor's electric braking Carbon motor brushes are one of the most commonly replaced power tool components. Because carbon brushes are wear items, meaning that through friction and use they will gradually wear away, they will eventually require replacement. Worn brushes are common causes of intermittent motor function, reduced electric braking, and reduced motor power. A worn out brush will often be worn down near the wire lead and may be cracked, pitted, or burned. When replacing carbon brushes, be sure to also inspect your armature for burns, cracks, or other damage which indicates a larger motor problem.

FIX11929439

The steel ball is part of the bit holder in an impact driver and is sold individually. The driver bit is held securely by the ball, which fits into the spindle. The ball is attached to the spindle by the collar. Over time, the collar can come loose, and the ball could get lost. The ball itself can sometimes wear, causing the driver to become loose rather easily. To access this part, you will need to remove the hog ring, which fits into a groove on the anvil. When removing this part, be careful not to misplace parts, as there is a spring behind the hog ring, which will become loose. This will allow you to remove the collar and steel ball. Remove the ball using a magnet, to keep it contained.
