This is a Genuine OEM Approved replacement part used on a variety of Milwaukee Power Tools. This Ball Bearing has multiple applications based on your tool. Ball Bearings are used to reduce friction between rotating parts. The balls or rollers take the load and spin, distributing the weight evenly while the minimal contact area of the ball reduces friction. This reduces wear on the tool and allows it to run smoothly. Bearings experience constant wear when the tool is in operation from pressure, heat, vibration and friction. Because of this, many Bearings need periodic maintenance or replacement. This part is made out of Metal and it is Sold Individually. To replace this Bearing you would need a Screwdriver and Pliers.

This is a 605RS ball bearing commonly used in hand-held tools like grinders. It is located within the rotor assembly of the grinder, facilitating smoother rotation and reducing friction between the rotor and its housing. Without this ball bearing, the rotor would rub against its housing, leading to premature grinder wear and decreased efficiency. Signs that this ball bearing needs replacement include excessive noise, vibrations, heat, and difficulty in rotation during operation. To prevent further damage to your grinder or other internal components, it is crucial to replace the bearing when any of these signs appear. Replacing this ball bearing will require grease and various screwdrivers. Start by disconnecting the battery and removing the side handle. Next, unscrew and disconnect the screws securing the main grinder housing to access the interior. Carefully remove the rotor. Extract the old bearing by first removing its retaining ring and then using a punch if necessary. Apply grease to the new bearing and insert it into the housing. Reinstall the rotor along with its securing screws, and then reassemble the grinder housing, including the side handle.
