This individually sold OEM screw is used in planers and folding tables. The knives in a planer are secured with plate holders and several of these screws. The screws are positioned through the blade holders into the cutting head. It is common for the screw head to become stripped, either from being repeatedly removed or becoming corroded, causing it to get stuck. It can be difficult to remove a screw that has a stripped head, so we recommend replacing this screw as soon as you notice signs of wear. This is an Allen head screw, so you will want to confirm that you have the appropriate tools for the repair.
