This is a single fuel filter found in numerous types of lawn and garden equipment that have small engines. The fuel filter cleans the fuel before making its way to the carburetor, thus preventing build up. If this flow of fuel is blocked, this will cause issues with starting the engine. Luckily, this common maintenance task is very quick and easy to do, and should be done annually, if not more depending on usage. You will start by draining the fuel tank and removing the spark plug.

This is an original replacement part manufactured for use with handheld leaf blowers. The flywheel has magnets on its side that create an electric charge as the magnets pass the ignition module. The electric charge is sent to the spark plug to fire the air-fuel mix in the cylinder. The flywheel fits on the crankshaft by a key that aligns with a keyway on the crankshaft, this allows for proper firing timing. If the key on the flywheel is broken it can cause misfires or will not start at all. This flywheel is sold as an individual replacement part.

Carburetor Assembly

Fix Number
FIX12602537
Manufacturer Part Number
530071633
This replacement carburetor is an authentic OEM sourced replacement part. It is designed for use with gas trimmers. Carburetor mixes air and gas before the fuel mix goes to the engine. If the engine won\'t start and the tank is full of fresh fuel, test the carburetor by removing the air filter and pouring about a teaspoon of fuel into the carburetor. Pull the starter rope. If the engine starts and then quickly dies, the carburetor is likely the problem. This carburetor has a metal body and it includes a rubber primer bulb and a plastic throttle lever. To complete this repair you would need a screwdriver. • Remove the air filter cover • Remove the air filter base • Remove the throttle cable • Remove the fuel lines • Remove the carburetor • Install the new carburetor • Reinstall the fuel lines • Reinstall the throttle cable • Reinstall the air filter cover
