The halogen lamp lights up the inside of the oven you can see the cooktop more effectively in darkness. If your light bulb is burned out, this is the part that replaces it. How do you remove the INTERIOR light bulb on the microwave portion of this in wall oven microwave combination

Hello Steve, thank you for contacting us. To replace the microwave bulb, shut off power at the junction box first. Open the door and remove the turntable and its support. Remove the two screws holding the mounting flanges to the cabinet, then, with a helper, pull the microwave out onto a sturdy surface. If the power cable is too short, disconnect the power and ground wires and remove the conduit from the junction box. Remove the four screws on the top access panel, lift the panel up, and slide it forward. Gently pull back the front and side retaining tabs on the main control board and move it aside. Release the retaining spring, then disconnect the old bulb from its socket. Glad to be of assistance!
