Packaging failed in shipping
The transformer is heavy for its size - shipping in a padded envelope resulted in the tabs on the transformer getting bent and the outer metal casing coming loose. The product wasn’t as well made as the original but after reshaping the metal and flattening the tabs, I was able to make it work. For the price I paid for shipping - I would have expected it to be professionally packaged to avoid shipping damage
