Ice maker would not stop running
removed rear panel, unplugged the two electrical connections to valve, turned water on and still had water coming out of ice maker. removed the two hoses to valve which have push connectors, removed water line to valve,removed one hold down screw and removed valve, repeat to install valve. After installation it appeared the valve indeed w as bas as the water was not running out of unit but seemed like it didn't want to turn on. But after about 15 minutes bamm...(computer must have un-froze.:) Job complete..mnakes ice great!!!

no ice and no water
Unplug refrigerator turn water off. Remove water line. Remove 1 screw holding valve. Unplug connector . Reverse process.

I Had a Leak in the Water Valve
Just follow the video for installing the part and it was easy as can be. I am a woman and I had no problem at all ! Thanks for your advice and video. Everything was smooth sailing. Sherry
