My ice was not done emptying when the drawer was being opened and pulled the ice tray off the ice maker.
I purchased a new ice maker. The repair was very easy. I have a French door fridge. I pulled out the freezer drawer, removed the top tray. Reached in and removed the 2 screws holding the ice maker in place. When it became loose I reached in and unplugged the ice maker and removed it. I took the new ice maker and plugged it in and pu shed it up into place and put the 2 screws in place. I turned the new ice maker own and hit the reset button on the bottom and it started making ice. less than 15 minutes beginning to end.
