Unable to drain water in washer and leak in dishwasher
Hi, I had a dishwasher and a dryer go out during the same weekend. I ordered both parts about 3 hours apart. We (my husband) and I could not have been more pleased. Both came in the same package and were here in a short amount of time. The parts and shipping totaled about $58.00. We feel that we saved about $1000 that weekend by doing the work ourselves (and not replacing them) and using a very user-friendly website to diagnose the problem and getting the right parts. We will definitely order from this company again. As a matter of fact, I did order a shelf for our refrigerator and had the same outcome- very satisfied with all. Walter and Mary

the washer wouldnt drain
There are a few excellent videos on YouTube that helped, and it was very easy. Basically tip the control panel back, remove the washer housing to reach the switch. A few screws to replace the switch and put it all back together. This was my first washer repair and I was considering a new washer. Glad I fixed it

washer agitates but won't drain and spin
The lid switch is not working, the safety features of the washer is drain and spin wont work if lid is open. If the lid switch doesn't work by default the lid is always open, even if it is close. While waiting for parts I replaced the switch with regular toggle switch and keep it closed all the time(switch on). This time my wife was able to used it until the replacement part arrived. The installation is so easy, just removed the 2 screws on the inside of the lid and open the back cover to remove the connector and replaced with the new one.

washer would not spin or drain
I nearly threw away our washing machine that only needed a $40.00 lid switch. Thanks to the online help at this site I was able to diagnose and repair the problem. I checked the most likely causes from the symptoms list, and found the lid switch mounting broken. Thank You!

Switch to operate spin cycle broke.
After watching the video the repair was fairly easy, however it could have been simple. I think think this would make it easier for manufacturing as well. If you just move the connector to where the switch is located, you would not have to take the washer apart at all and would not need any tools. Manufacturing could just as easily run th e wire to the switch location and then make connect the switch.
