Product Description

This part is located behind the control panel. It helps determine the level of water in the washer. As the water fills the hose, while tub is filling, it will push the air against a diaphragm inside the switch. More water that enters the tub, more pressure is applied against the switch.

Washer water sensor level never forced a shutoff of running water
Repaired by watching the videos and reviewing the step by steps instructions provided by this site, Excellent. Since I also subscribe to the lazy man theory I added one extra step. I used a wire Butt Connector that was a tight fit. connected one end of the butt connect (make sure it is tight enough to withstand fiction) to one end of t he new Switch hose and the other end to the Switch hose I was replacing. This allowed me to gently and easily pull the old tube out and it pulled the new tube through the tubes path.
