A pan was dropped on the cooktop causing a small crack. The crack over time spidered out to completely break the cooktop in two pieces
I watched the demo video on Utube and discovered how easy it would be to change . It was just a matter of unscrewing the brackets and I followed the simple instructions and changed the cooktop to the new one in about twenty minutes. So rather than calling a repair company and getting their labor charges I just had the cost of the cooktop and saved money.
