The old silverware basket had holes in the bottom and the silverware kept falling through.
Took out broken basket and placed new one in dishwasher.

Silverware basket - split fit had worn due to old age; holes in bottom.
I ordered the basket online and it arrived after a few days. I recycled the old plastic basket and inserted the new one.
