Maytag washer motor base unlike repair video
Waited for motor and watched repair video. The video shows motor removed from base mount very easily. Not so! It is necessarey to Remove the belt pulley from the shaft in order to put new motor onto the motor base. We used penetrating oil to soak set screw in shaft. Removing pulley was a complicated job, thought I was going to have t o purchase a "Hub Puller " but finally it did come loose. Springs were nothing like to video showed either. This video needs to be updated!
