On /off switch was sticking and had to punch it several times

Ordered a new switch from you and installed it but nothing works. Called Jet and waiting to hear back. May have to take it to a dealer but am very frustrated as I am working on a large project and was hoping to complete it this week. Any suggestions will help.

Defective, seconds, or cheap knockoff.

When I first bought it I thought it was decent, not as good as the original, but not bad. Now I think it's just junk. The only real issue at first seemed to be that the buttons needed pushed a lot farther than normal to get it to work. A magnetic switch should shut off when the power goes out. This one didn't. Last week the power went out while I was resawing. When it came back on the saw started back up on its own. It failed to do the one job it was designed for. Today I finished a cut and turned the saw off. It started right back up. I had to turn it off twice. I thought maybe that was a fluke, but it did it again 5 minutes later. How dangerous is that? You turn off a saw, reach for your board and the saw starts right back up. Now my saw is out of commission until I can find a new magnetic switch.
