Conical burrs were dull, and breville only sells the outer bur. Had to buy the entire grinder assembly.
Not too bad after figuring out where all the screws are and the fact that you have to apply some force to the snap in fittings on the back cover. I was concerned that it was going to break.

There's 5 screws holding the top cover on. Three at the top behind the water tank, and one on each front corner in a deep recess. Need a thin long screwdriver. Once the top cover is off, there's a couple screws holding the top of the back panel, and one in a hole with a cover in it at the bottom of where the water tank sits. Had to pop the cover to that hole with a utility knife. After those are out you pretty much have to rip the cover off the back. Make sure to completely remove the bottom screw in the hidden hole. If it is still resting in the hole it will catch on the base and refuse to be removed. I fought with this one for a while. There are six molded retainer clips that need to release. If you can locate them you can depress them with a small flat screwdriver. Had to then remove a white box with 4 screws on the back interior to access the wires to splice. They were not long enough to do without removal of the "box". I don't know what the box is.

Then unplug a double wire connector near the top of the grinder unit. I think white and yellow wires.
Then remove the adjuster dial for the grind setting. If you lose the little white cap with a tiny spring under it, like i did, don't worry-- they give you another with the new grinder.... although you don't actually need it-- it just makes the clicking when you turn the grinder adjustment.
There are 4 screws holding the grinder assembly in. Once they are out and the wires are disconnected the assembly comes out fairly easy. Then basically remove and replace, cut strip and crimp the wires back on, and assemble in reverse order.
