Product Description

This is an authentic OEM replacement part that has been sourced directly from the manufacturer. This part is compatible with select models of Breville Smart Ovens. To ensure this part fits your Oven please see the "Model Cross Reference List" below. The Thermal Fuse is designed to blow when the oven reaches too high of a temperature to prevent the oven from excessive heating. If the fuse blows, the oven won't heat. As it is designed to blow at a certain temperature, Thermal Fuses are a commonly replaced part. If your oven will not heat or turn on, you may need to replace the Thermal Fuse. Each is sold individually.

Unit wouldn't power up
Step 1: Spread towel on desk and flipped upside down with oven door facing back
Step 2: Removed left/right foot assembly (six screws each side)
Step 3: Removed screws on each corner of what would be the oven bottom
Step 4: Removed all screws on back side of oven (approximately 20 in total)
Step 5: Gently slid the back panel up and completely removed
Step 6: Located thermal fuse on right side (not true right side...keeping mind oven that flipped upside down)
Step 7: Gently pried thermal fuse of of clamp and slid back thermal protective sleeve
Step 8: Made note of fuse orientation and clipped one end
Step 9: Crimped replacement fuse in same orientation and then repeated step on second connection
Step 10: Reverse steps and reassemble
Note: Overall, fairly easy job as long as you're patient

didn't fit my Breville toaster oven
I bought two in case I need another one down the road. However, even the part said it fits my toaster oven it didn't. I had to keep them because I waited for a while before I found time to try to replace the thermal fuse. So make sure you order the right parts.
