Product Description

This is an official OEM approved replacement part for many GE Dishwashers, to see if this part will fit your appliance please see the "Model Cross Reference List" below. The Ring Nut with Gasket connects the manifold to the water feed tub, preventing leaks between the two. If your dishwasher is leaking or making unusual noises, it may be time to replace the Ring Nut. This part has a diameter of approximately 2", and is sold individually. This part may also be referred to as a Spray Arm Manifold Ring Nut and Gasket.

water leaking from underneath
I first replaced the hose connected to the bottom of the main conduit, but it wasn't the only problem. I looked further and found a crack in the threaded part of the main conduit, the associated o-ring had flattened out, and the ring nut was missing it's gasket. Those parts were easy to replace and no more leaks.
