Can't control the chute, doesn't swerve to the right or the left. It looks like the handle rod has become disconnected from something. Because I can actually lift the handle and trigger assembly straight out of the control unit.

Thank you for your question. If you cannot control the chute and the handle rod has become loose, try securing it to see if this will resolve the issue. If you still cannot adjust the chute, you will need to check the cable, the springs, the gears, the pins and the brackets. Once you have determined the part you need, please call customer service.
