A piece of gravel got stuck in the auger and severed two shear pins. The auger belt started to smoke. I changed the belt and now it won't move.

Hi Michael, Thank you for your question. If you have just replaced the belt and the snow blower will not move, there are some other parts that you will need to check to see which one is causing the issue. You will need to check the springs that keep the belt tight, the wheels, the cable and the friction disc. Once you have determined the part you need, please feel free to call customer service. We are open 7 days a week and anyone will be happy to assist you. We look forward to hearing from you!

The chute rotation assembly was stuck
I ordered a replacement chute rotation gearbox. The small metal ball on the end of the cable (on the replacement part) was attached about 1/8" too long and made it so that there was too much play in the trigger that operates it. Thus, the replacement part did not work. I called customer service for directions about returning the part. They said it must have been defective. I'm still waiting for instructions about returning it for a refund. The whole thing was a bust. I ended up disassembling the old gearbox and fixing it, instead of replacing it (which would have been my preference). The replacement part did not work at all!
