Double radiant burner failed
This a straight forward job if you have the correct part . The website does not show the correct # 17 part for certain models. My Serial number started with 14 and used a different burner. Caused me to reorder and pay return shipping. Remove the range from the counter top. The top detaches easily by removing 8 screws and disconnecting 3 p lastic wire connectors. After removing the top place upside down , take note of all the wiring . The old burner is held in place by 3 retention clips. Loosen them and remove the burner. reverse the steps above reconnecting the wiring and you should be good to go.
