dispenser no longer worked!
repair went fine, the only caution i would offer would be as follows: if you have a stainless insert, be real careful of the edges,they are razor sharp. also, on the kitchen aid dishwasher you have to put the door latch screws in first before the rest of the panel screws.

The door of the detergent dispenser couldn't be closed.
The detergent dispenser I bought at this site looks different than the original one. It also seems smaller but it fits perfectly when I put it on. I had to take off the cover of the door of the dishwasher to remove the old part. There are several YouTube videos I watched before I got started. None of the dishwashers is the same as mine, however, the procedure to replace the dispenser is similar. You would need a Torx screwdriver to remove the door cover and a nutdriver to remove the dispenser. Now we can add detergent to the dishwasher!
