Can I put springs on tub ring to help it ride on ntw 4516fw1 Amana washer. I replaced the rod absorbers it still shakes!

Hello Ken, thank you for reaching out. Instead of placing springs on the tub ring, part number FIX11756029, we suggest that you replace the tub ring if it is defective. Also if replacing the suspension rods did not help with the shaking in your appliance, we suggest that you check the agitator repair kit, part number FIX334650, thrust spacer, part number FIX334562, and washer leveling leg, part number FIX11757131, as these could be the culprits.
