The waste hose was touching the floor. Years of vibration had sanded a hole it in.
Tools needed: pump pliers (or other wide-nose pliers) and a length of string (for snaking the waste hose up and out the back). I did unplug the washer, but I did not disconnect the water hoses. I looked at the assembly PartSelect sent and then tilted up the washer and looked at the old assembly in the washer. Then I did what seemed obv ious –making sure each plastic plug found its matching hole. It worked.

Leak in drain hose
Took off the old one, compared it to picture on web site, ordered and received it in no time. Installed new hose in about 20 minutes and started washing clothes.

The old drain hose hatom clamp
And rubbed a small hole at the bend causing a tiny leak. Removed 1 spring clamp at bottom of hose and 1 plastic fitting at the top and replaced with new hose and fittings. Very simple and a 10 minute job. The shipping I received from this site was incredible. Ordered Thurs afternoon, and was delivered Sat.
